DYNASTY WARRIORS 4 EMPIRES (PS2) - Scores 5/5

Alot of people think that the Dynasty warriors game are nothing else but button bashing, but they are totally wrong. This title is probably the best in the series. You have total control over your players actions, you can accept your lieutants orders or not at the same time choosing what suits you best. The game action is spot on, the myst effect which was in DW3 has gone which helps alot. I would advise new comers to try this title first cause it's the best. None stop action and very easy to play.!!

INTERESTING, BUT ADDICTICE GAME - Scores 5/5

DW4 Empires can be considered as an 'add on' to DW4: XL in that when you 1st load up the game if you have saved data for DW4: XL then you can create saved data for this game & thus giving you all playable characters from DW4 available from the beginning, along with extra artwork unlocked in the artwork section

The edit characters are so much better in that you get to choos what type they'll be e.g warrior, princess, hero etc. & in turn that gives three costume options which can be mixed around as you can choose the same options as in DW4, but the best thing is that ALL weaponas both used by main characters & edited characters are available to use & can save up to 12 instead of the 4 as before

This game is most certainly different from what came before in that you choose a ruler for your force & fight over a maximum of 100 turns for the control of the whole of China, picking up officers from ANY side on your way up to a maximum of 20 in total - 10 generals (playable & non- playable characters) & 10 leuitentants non-playable ONLY

DYNASTY WARRIORS 4 : EMPIRES - Scores 4/5

finally a DW game where you control the battles, you choose the generals, this game is really indepth and could possibly in my opinion be one of the best in the series you get to take political stances (choosing whats best for your army/people) and you still get to mindlessly kill :P

Very realistic in running an empire, very enjoyable but it could with having more levels and more personal objectives from each induvidual character

Great game with a endless amount of playable characters including all of your favourite ones from the prvious releses.
If you do buy this buy the game Dynasty warriors 4, 3 or the new 5th installment (relesed on the 24th of june) You would be a fool not to buy it.

MY SON ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS! - Scores 5/5

My son absolutely loved this game! From his review he said that it was eyecatching and action packed. From a review by his uncle he said that it was well thoughtout and enjoyable however, it built on the other successful games of the set. But I still think it was a very good buy particularly for someone obcessive with collecting all the games in a series.
